Welcome to Riverside Caravan Park

The site was established around 49 years ago with the aim of bringing tourism to Crickhowell. At the time, there was little to do in the sleepy little hamlet, however, over the years Crickhowell has grown into a thriving and busy village with plenty to see and do.

The site has been owned by local residents since its existence and has gone through just three changes of ownership. Mr. Price, who first built and owned the site, passed it on to his daughter Ruth, before we, the Woottons, took charge 6 years ago.

My family and I, Alex Wootton, have lived on the back of the site all of our lives. So, to say Riverside is like our home is a massive understatement. Our longstanding connection with the area has fed our local knowledge and connections, which we are proud to share with all of our guests.

Once you arrive on the site, I’ll be a familiar face as I take charge of the day-to-day running of the business. You’ll probably spot my father, Jim, pottering around, too. He’s technically retired but is always ready to lend a helping hand when necessary.

I’m a keen mountain walker and biker, so if you fancy any extra information in these fields don’t hesitate to pop over for a chat.

“Riverside” is a name we have been conversant with as an excellent adult-only caravan site located within the wonderful scenery of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.

Not only the site but the lovely town with its privately-owned shops, always ready to welcome us on our return visits.

We have been coming to Riverside Caravan Park for at least 15 years and it is was a pleasure, every time to be welcomed by the previous and now new owners.

This is the perfect “get-away-from-it-all” place to be.
